What’s your role at Cornerstone?
Creative Arts Minister - As Creative Arts Minister, I'm humbled to get to help create an atmosphere that aids in storytelling throughout the staff and congregation of Cornerstone. This role encompasses oversight and development in the areas of visual media, technical production, service programming, and communication. It's a blessing to have the opportunity to coordinate with all ministries and programming to foster a family approach to ministry, mission, and future at Cornerstone!
Education & Work Experience
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Evansville and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from SIU Edwardsville. Before God opened the door to serve in Children's, Family Life and now Creative Arts Ministry at Cornerstone, I was blessed to teach in the public school system for 5 1/2 years. This summer began my 10th year at Cornerstone. It has been amazing to see how God continues to use my prior training and work experience to help equip me as I step out in faith to the next high place He's calling!
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I always wanted to be an astronaut. I attended Space Academy as a junior high student and was certain of a stellar career…until high school calculus came along!
What are some things you enjoy doing?
Spending quality time with friends and family is always something to which I look forward! I also enjoy golfing, playing tennis, boating/water skiing, traveling, am a bit of technology nerd and love learning!
