Rooted Serve Experience

The Rooted group traveled to The Haven in Mattoon for our Serve Experience this week. We provided and cooked hamburgers, baked beans, chips, and Rice Krispies Treats for dessert! We got to hang out and get to know several residents there, then went to Freddy's for ice cream and great conversation about the experience. Thanks, The Haven, for having us!!

Walking Trail

The walking trail around the building is open and ready for pedestrians. A flat surface and .3 mile distance is great for strollers, wheelchairs, and folks who may want to grab a short walk without committing to a long hike. C’mon out and try it out! Everyone is welcome!
